Knosys has been named in KMWorld 100 Companies That Matter in Knowledge Management 2018 for the second consecutive year. This list reflects the input and feedback from editors, analysts, experts and, most importantly, users. Knosys shares the list with a number of Global players, and as KMWorld Editor, Sandra Haimila, describes, “The organisations named this year to our list of 100 Companies That Matter in Knowledge Management have captured and sustained our interest through their functionality, success with clients and innovation.”
Knosys provides KnowledgeIQ, an enterprise content management system with specific capabilities for easily categorising information, creating business process workflows, content links and information relevance. “Instead of the grandiose claims that some vendors make, that it will solve all an organisation’s problems, it is better to focus on those technologies within this space that can add real value to the knowledge management system setup, the consumption of information or its operational efficiency,” says Knosys CEO John Thompson.
Accordingly, we expect to see more significant progress and contribution from improved natural language processing, increased predictive analytics and enhanced machine learning to present more relevant information and thus reduce the effort lost to searching. These are just some of the areas that Knosys is expanding to help organisations take control of their organisational knowledge.
This is reflected by KMWorld Editor, Sandra Haimila, “When we look at the technologies they offer, we are awed by the progress, excited by what the future will bring and confident they will enrich our lives. The companies we have chosen for our 2018 list have proven their business value to customers. We are impressed.”
